MULTIPLE ENTRY VISA IS BACK
After being closed for nearly 3 years, Directorate General Immigration reopened Multiple Entry Visa (MEV) starting Tuesday, 22 November 2022. This was informed by the Director General of Immigration Widodo Ekatjahjana in Jakarta on Monday, 21 November 2022.
“MEV will be reopened as a form of support for global business people, bona fide potential investors, and world billionaires with large capital so they can easily go back and forth to Indonesia. This is real proof of the ease of immigration for business people with high mobility will have a significant impact on Indonesia’s economic recovery”, Widodo explained.
Widodo said that foreign business people applying for MEV are required to have a guarantor in the form of a corporation or company in Indonesia. MEV is the type of visit visa that allows foreigners to travel in and out of Indonesia within 1 to 5 years. You get 60 days of stay every time you enter Indonesia.
