Posted on March 12th, 2021 by Citra Consultant Indonesia

The Presidential Regulations / PP (Peraturan Presiden) no. 48 of year 2021 concerning the Third Amendment to Government Regulation Number 31 of 2013, came into effect this March 2021.

Here are some changes that caught our attention, we can generate these deductions:

  1. This indicates that Visa on Arrival’s (VoA) may no longer be extended once Indonesian borders re-open.
  2. Investor may be required to deposit or show a financial guarantee to Immigration as a guarantee during their stay in Indonesia.
  3. Foreigners may apply for a second home visa, using a proof of deposit of sufficient funds as a immigration guarantee.
  4. We may assume that expatriates (TKA) are now eligible for a Working KITAP, but applicants should be Directors or Commissioners that are non-shareholders.

CCI will be the first to update you once the regulations are implemented at the local immigration offices in Bali.
