Negative Investment List – 2016 The List (Daftar Negatif Investasi) is compiled by the Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board, BKPM.It stipulates which sectors are open to foreign investment in Bali ,Indonesia, as well as the percentage of foreign ownership permitted. For existing expat owners, or for those of you considering to set up business in Indonesia, the good news is this new Presidential decree is the most liberal to date. We predict this will increase interest in foreign investment, especially in the hospitality industry. Restaurant, Bars and Cafes are now 100% open to foreign ownership. For Non-star, 1 star and 2 star hotels, the permitted foreign ownership is now increased to 51%. For Distribution businesses, there is an increase of up to 67%.   If you are interested in setting up a consultation to discuss re-structuring your company’s shareholdings, contact us at corporate@cciindonesia.com
